Donate to ICaN
ICaN raises money for exciting projects designed to address nature recovery and climate adaptation and resilience. Projects in local green spaces that increase biodiversity, reduce climate impacts and support healthier and more resilient communities.
Donate to a specific project
For businesses
We know local businesses are keen to help address environmental challenges and support local communities - ICaN projects provide opportunities to do both.
For individuals
We can’t deliver these exciting projects to help nature and communities in South Gloucestershire without your donations.
Donate to ICaN general fund
A donation to the ICaN General Fund is a great way to help ICaN grow and succeed with donations being spread across different projects in need of support.
Your contribution will enable ICaN to better meet challenges, grow bigger, go further and do more to help tackle the climate and nature emergencies.
We’re now developing new projects, and these need careful design and development to reach the stage where they can be implemented through ICaN. A donation to the ICaN General Fund will help fund the work of specialist designers, ecologists, and surveyors who are all needed to help bring these project ideas to life - projects such as:
- Installing Air Source Heat Pumps schools and other public buildings (ICaN - Decarbonisation of Buildings).
- Planting large trees in heavily urbanised locations (ICaN Street Trees).
- Capturing and slow releasing stormwater runoff to reduce the discharge of sewage into waterways by (ICaN Stormy Waters).
- Better management and care for our remaining ancient and native woodlands (ICaN Woodlands TLC).
The ICaN General Fund can make a big difference in many other ways and help to address: Unforeseen project costs or excessive vandalism incurred, beyond the small contingency allowance included in the fundraising target. Shortfalls in donations received, a possibility for even the most exciting projects. Effective marketing - ensuring more people and businesses hear about and support ICaN, generating more support and funding for project delivery.
